La Sportiva Mega Ice Evo
Waterproof, insulated, and ultra-lightweight, the Mega Ice Evo are La Sportiva's entry into the world of racing crampons, blending climbing shoe and mountaineering boot. The slipper construction is derived from the design of a traditional climbing shoe, to minimise weight and maximise agility, with one important difference: a Carbon Antiflexion midsole that makes the shoe highly stiff and rigid for technical ice climbing. It's also highly insulating. For weather protection, the water-repellent Schoeller® Dynamic material is bonded to a waterproof, insulated membrane to achieve the lowest possible weight. With that in mind, the Mega Ice Evo will suit any experienced mountaineer, alpinist, and ice climber who prioritises speed when moving in the mountains.

these are the best performing fruit boots on the market, the fit is very technical and the heel doesnt allow any slip. they arent the warmest boot but they climb so well that i can look past it.
The only reason this boot is receiving 2 stars instead on only 1 is because it fits my foot well and I like how it climbs. I have owned the boot for 4 months and the sole is separating from the upper and all of the t-nuts are loose and worn down to the carbon.
