Bought one of these meant for Belaying while climbing Ice, but the nose is to small to grab with gloves. Also freezes because the gap between the two gates is so minimal. For belaying or rappeling it works really good because of the thicker diameter, for building anchors i find them harder to use because of their size. Good for stationary use, not so good for multipitch Ice or mixed, should be fine in summer on rock
